WoD scripts updated

Postby Drocket on Tue May 25, 2004 11:53 pm

The WoD scripts for POL 0.95 were updated today. The big changes are:

<li>Wrote a new blacksmithy menu (lots of changes to the blacksmithy package for this to work)
<li>Added a new blacksmithy special order contract (somewhat similar to the OSI bulk order deeds). Changes to the blacksmithy package again, plus to the merchant AI and jobbing system to get them to work
<li>Created a new 'shrunknpcs' package to replace the old shrink system that was partially located in /pkg/dundee and partially elsewhere (ick, ick)
<li>Lots of changes to the treasuremap system (and indirectly changes to the mining system and cartography to apply these.) After you install the new package, use the dot command '.fixmaps' to fix all the existing maps
<li>2 new druid spells (changes to druid and druidspells packages for these, plus animallore pkg to create the rune, plus hitscripts to make the spells effective)
<li>Housing system changes to make housevalue calculations more accurate
<li>Lots of assorted bugfixes

The scripts can be downloaded in <a href="http://www.theworldofdreams.com/files/scripts.html">the usual place</a>

Looking for base 0.95

Postby xellos on Sun Jun 20, 2004 7:46 am

Anybody know where I can get the base POL 0.95 scripts, or are those still needed to run the WOD scripts? I've been all over the net and I can't find them anywhere.

Suggestions? I have a 0.95 linux core still.

If you mean the POL095 core, go to the official POL site:

http://www.polserver.com/

Take the link to the Downloads page.

The distro scripts are also worth a look if you want to study an alternative to the popular WoD scripts.

I thought I'd looked there and it said "Page Not Found". Hmmm. Must've just been me.

Thanks again for the links and advice!
