trade smithing buffs?

Postby Dell-Leafsong on Tue Mar 30, 2004 3:49 am

I have a durable (+4) robe of blacksmithy with 32 charges of Magic Reflect. I need a smithy buff of +4 (or better, if you're feeling generous) in any slot other than the robe/dress slot. My lady smith is already wearing a durable plain dress of blacksmithy, and I foolishly bought this robe on the auction thinking she could wear them both.

Anyone feel like trading? I'd love a skirt or doublet or something. ;)

Dell, either one could be manastoned to just about any slot, except gorget, gloves or helm. Then, if you really want to make it pants, shirt, half-apron or whatever, you could Bobby fix it after stoning it.

I could manastone the robe into a leather tunic (let's just say), and then Bobby would charge me 10k to change it into something else. His first few were "on the house," but now he's asking me for 10k each time. Any chance I could trade somebody w/out the need for that 10k gold?

I know it's only 10k gold plus the manastone, but I'm running a little low on the glittery stuff lately. Not to mention my innately frugal nature - ie skinflint ;)

Managed to get the durable robe traded for a pair of swanky leather shorts. Thanx much, my brother.
