This makes me proud to be an American

Postby Celeste Kendreyl on Fri Apr 30, 2004 8:10 pm

This was an email forwarded to me from a friend. It was awhile ago, but I saved it, and just recently discovered it again in my saved folder. It kind of made little butterflies in my stomach when I read it the first time, but I was surprised me when it did the same every time I read it afterward...

wow...that was so touching...it really touches me to see that i really thank you for putting it on here. My dad was in the navy for 20 years and just resently retired and my older brother (whom was just married and just had a beautiful baby girl) was in iraq and many other places we are involved with over there for about as long as we have been over fighting. He is in the marine corps and lives all the way in maryland so I worry about it everyday. But i respect and love what he is doing along with all the other men and women fighting for this country and keeping us free and safe. you really made my day cel...thank you

Love elwen
