In search of new adventures...

Hi all! Since most of you are familiar with these lands and I'm not, I thought get some advice on where I should be out adventuring.

I have outgrown the Britain graveyard, though it is still my favorite place. :p Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time in the Skara Brae farmlands, that place seems to be a bit too easy for me now, too. At least it was till this morning when I ran into a group of snow orc mages. Alas, I couldn't stay to defend, they were just too powerful for me.

Does anyone have any advice on where to go next? I spent some time today in a dungeon in the mountains north of Britain, that was ok but I'm not a big fan of dungeons, and I did fight some brigands and mages south of Britain last night. Those weren't bad. Good thing my magic resist is almost maxed. :)

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. :)

In case this helps, my fencing, parry, and tactics are all in the low 80s; my healing and magic resist are at 79-80, and anatomy is 60-something.

You fought the orcs, did you clear the 1st two levels, thats where i started way back in the day.

Good source of V is moonglow GY and vesper GY, though vamps may be a bit much for you right now, moonglow should be good.

moonglow is nice, but sometimes it has a tough invasion spawn (you'll be able to see all red names before you see the gate if it's like that)

Ah yes, and most of those rednames are casters, so it is best to pull a few back and work slowly at those times.

Hrmm, if you didnt mind orcs but do mind dungons you might try the forest out east of brit all the way over to the swamp, mostly lizardmen and midrange orcs, a few orc mages and the odd orc lord.

Theres also a larget encampent of brigands on the road leading up to yew from Britain and snow orc encampent a bit north from that, ususally it's fairly easy but with the snow orc thing going on that may not currently be the case.

Hello Ravenna
Nice to have you in our lands.
There are 2 dungeons that are ok. That would be Dungeon Covetous where you will encounter Lizardmen of all types and there is Shame where you will meet upon Ratmen of all kind.
Safe hunting!!!

Shame has Rats on the 1st two levels, level one is snap, level 2 does have casters and a tele to despise.

Level 3 starts the trolls, they can be tricky if too many gang up on you.

Yes....Spectres and Disturbed Spirits. But the undead Lords and undead shades tend to hit fairly hard for the more inexperienced fighters.
So be careful out there Ravenna. I will gladly hunt with you if you need a hunting partner or just someone to help out :)

Ok, thanks! I was wondering if there might be a ratman or lizardman village/dungeon somewhere, since I can handle these pretty well, even several of them at a time.

Be careful when going to these dungeons. As you may know already, once you get past the first level the dungeons do get tougher. In Shame level one is mostly ratmen with the occassional wind elemental, scorpion, fire elemental, spider. Watch for the marksmen, they hit with a potent explosion potion. level 2 gets a bit tougher. Still lots of ratmen, some elementals, lesser wyrms, djinni(a red air ele). Level 3 is mostly trolls but like mentioned earlier be careful as they tend to group up on you and surround you. The reds are the harder hitters. The troll chieftain can be very tough.

The same as Covetous......the higher levels you go to, the tougher it gets.

Good Luck
