Well, this post is a little late. About a week late but I wanted to write it to tell the GM that he did a great job for a night when not many people were on.
My half-brother, Goulden Lochs was in the mage shop next to Britain Bank with K'loni last Saturday showing her the finer points of jobbing among other things.
As they both were talking, a man without a head walked in claiming he had his head chopped off not far from the Brit Cemetary and asked for help. He said that he was wandering around the forest taking in the greenery and as he bent down to smell a flower......WHACK!!! There goes his head. He has no idea who did it but nonetheless he wanted his head back. Goulden told him that he could not help since he was a mage in training and he would go and get his half-brother(me) because I am the fighter in the family.
I was on my tower roof traing some of my warriors when Goulden came to me and told me about this poor mans misfortunes. I immediately rounded up Dais and Venus, my 2 strongest warriors and gated to the Britain and headed for the cemetary. Once past the cemetary, I ran into the headless man and he told me that he had heard from the forest that a mongbat had snatched up his head. With a little search of the area I found this mongbat and disposed of him. Grabbed the head from its clutches and brought it back to the headless man. He was very grateful for this and Thanked me but apologized that he didnt have a reward for me. I told him that his friendship was enough reward and if he ever saw the head chopper again, to let me know and I will get the vengence that he deserves.
Off I went with Dais and Venus. We ran through Britain to head to the beach and mine some sand. As we were running through Britain, we ran across a man names Mike. He asked us if we were the fighters that got his friends head back for him. Mike said that he heard a rumor that the headchoppers little army was hiding out near the mountains north of Britain. He said that there is a good chance that the head chopper would be there also. I told him to stay in Britain and we would take care of it.
As we headed out of Britain past the armorer, I happened along Odyssey Jones with his 2 warriors and I asked him if he wanted to join. He quickly replied yes.
We made our way up to the mountains after buffing and ran into several brigands. Took them out with no problem. A little farther, some more. They werent much of a resistance, more like mere annoyances. I wanted this HeadChopper. We came to a cave and was welcomed by several mages. They took a little longer to dispose but was once again, another annoyance. Into the cave we went, apparently all the brigands were hiding. Once in the middle of the cave, they all appeared. Must have been about 20 of them. They fought hard but not as hard as us. Down they went.
But still no sign of the HeadChopper. I thought maybe he was hiding too, but more than likely he fleed once he saw what he was up against.
Seems like nothing but a coward he is. First of all chopping a mans head off while he's not looking. And now, watching all his men die as he flees. Coward I say!!
Mr Headless One then walks into the cave and Thanks us once again for ridding the forst of these brutes. He assured me that the Head Chopper will attack again. This time I hope he attacks me. But being the coward he is, I doubt it.
So, now I hope Mr Headless One has his head back on straight and is able to enjoy life once again.
As for the Head Chopper......I'm waiting for you!!
