It could be if you wanna be picky. :)

Not sure being named after body parts is going to cut it.
We could have used some other body part, maybe even the part she sits on, but I refrained from that suggestion. LOL.

Watchers does not sound like an appropiate name either. Do you mean Chaos guards are mere spectators

That is all in ones personal interpretation I suppose. A Watcher would travel the lands, alert for evil and when encountering it they would strive to vanquish it. A Watcher would be alert and decisive.

Still, not a perfect name but better than "Chaos Guard". :)

Besides, the word watcher has this sinister sound to it (almost like "The Guardian") that should not be associated with Virtue guards.

Again, mere personal interpretation. Watcher, to me, sounds like one that would watch and protect.

I think it'd be easier to separate Order and Chaos into two different knighthood orders

That is the idea.

Queen's Knights is a perfectly good name for current Order. Land's Knights, or something analgous, might be good for current Chaos.

I must say he, Gizash, was an eloquent and somewhat pursuasive speaker. Those you speak of with shame, were fine warriors, if not easily swayed at times. I am still proud to have called them all friends and allies.

To this day, though, I still believe virtues are something you carry in your heart, not some simple picture on a shield.

I have great respect for those people in the most part. what i cannot believe is that they allowed Gizash who even then we knew to be an evil sod of the first order to sway them into wearing his colours. it was certainly not our world's most shining hour. allowing pride or vanity to overcome one's good sense is very difficult to understand. still the situation was resolved in the end and Gizash's head looked rather fine on that spike.

If you're referring to the land and the people, maybe it'd be best to have the Chaos guards reflect 'the common man'. People's Knights or some such thing. Though really, I'd prefer it if the Order Guards had a very traditional sort of sounding name, like the Most Respected Order of Knights Vigilant, or something like that, while Chaos guards were just meh... whatever. That sort of reflects both the traditions, staying true to the concepts and being interesting. Besides, if Chaos guards had a single, unifying name, isn't that a bit.. Ordered?

I like it, sounds very communist

Umm, Knights Vigilant? How about "The Illustrious Royal Knights of the Order of the Silver Serpent" :)

You're right. No point in trying to give a name to a group that doesn't exist in practice. Each Chaos guard should choose his or her own designation, whichever he or she likes the most. That way Bayn can be "Bayn the Voyeur" if he really wants to :P
(You knew that was coming :D)

Works for me. What would we use for short, Royal Knights, Queen's knights or Knights of the Silver Serpent?*

* The reason I like to keep referring to the Order emblem in our name is because it reminds me of the Order of the Garter, which takes its name from the characteristic blue badge (a 'garter') worn on the left knee by the knights.

the chaos shield we see now is Gizash's personal insignia when he was the Queen's Champion. He hasn't used it since he went rogue that i know of but it was his well before there were Virtue Guards. that's why i cringe a bit when i see one going by.
