As a keen roleplayer who finds it frustrating being misunderstood by non-roleplayers while your in RP mode, or not knowing if a player is into Roleplay or not and so ending up not bothering or getting totally confused as to what you are,a Roleplayer or a
non-RP,i was wondering if there is a way to put a player Tag say a bracketed RP [RP] over a characters
name via the options menu.If its possible then roleplayers could turn on the Tag when ready for a good olde RP session with fellow RP,rs and know when they are talking to the non-RP,rs and not feel such an ass when asked "What did you say?" or something of the sort hehe.

I Think this is a wonderful suggestion.

Sometimes i think, "Is this person rp'ing or just talking" would be nice to know .

Well the tag sounds good, but maybe like RP at the end of all your info on your paper doll would be better.If you rember I tried to get a roleplaying type guild going where I post times to play,it worked for about 2 weeks then faded. I would like to try again,I still have my RP char. in waiting.

Unless I read wrong, maybe you could have RP in the .status window, like [private] or [dead] and such?

I'm not a scripter, but I don't think it would be hard to add a .rp command that added that to the status window, and do it again to turn it off. Though the question really is how useful it will be. I've been around for a bit, and I've seen very little RP.

Maybe the lesson is to never assume? Set up a group, go somewhere *other* than the Brit Bank, and RP away. No misconceptions there, then. Seven out of Eight towns are next-to-entirely empty, and just waiting for avid Rpers to set up another "hang out" location.

It might even insipre Seers and such to have quests away from the bank! That'd be a moment in WoD history to see.

I think the amount of RP is directly related to weather the players are aware of the others interest in RP.But other than having a tag an easily seen and visible one it will take a lenghty out of character chat to extablish the fact which i find puts pressure on the players to perform rather than having spur of the moment RP which is the truest form and easy for all ranges of experience in RP.Where the tag is placed should only be governed by how easy it is for other players to identify a RP ready character.Im really coming from the angle of making it easier to RP if in the mood not forcing it
on anyone. I would be interested in an RP guild which spanned the wide diversity of WOD activities,hunting,and manufacture and leisure, lemme know.

I could try this guildthing - something new, lost a portion of my interest...this may start a new flame(not the one that annoys people).
