No sports movie can compare to the legendary "Major League." Being a life-long Cleveland Indian fan, it was great seeing the Tribe actually winning, even if it was at Milwuakee County Stadium (where a lot of the game footage was actually shot).

Good observation Atei, I used to be a big Brewer fan back in the early 80's when they were a powerhouse team. But now with me being in Chicago, how can I not be a fan of the Beloved Cubbies?
Oh, and Bob Eucker was great in that movie too!!

Hmm sports movies...*thinks* The only ones I recall liking were...

Football
The Replacements
Neccessary Roughness (spelling)

Baseball
Major League 1 & 2
Angels In The Outfield

Basketball
Space Jam

Hockey
Mighty Ducks 1 & 2

Golf
Tin Cup
Happy Gilmore

Hmmm...all comedies...apprently I dont care for the serious sports movies at all hehe..

I just wanted to add, if I never see Bad News Bears again in my lifetime it will be to soon still, that is one of the most overplayed terrible sports movies I have ever seen!

Well, back in the 70's when it first came out, this movie was hilarious. Well, to me anyway.
That plus I was also big in baseball. I always dreamed I would be a big leaguer. Perhaps that had something to do with it. 8)

I enjoyed Field of Dreams, and the Natural (much less). Most of the other movies posted here I also liked, just a big baseball fan.

A few of my favorite "Sports" movies:

- The Last Boy Scout
- Remember The Titans
- Caddyshack - The first one (the second one was bad)
- The Longest Yard
- And probably my favorite - Brian's Song
