Not sure if this belongs in this folder or under new players...anyways here's my problem

I have two computers. My old computer and UO software isnt working right now. I never installed UO on my other computer, and no longer have the CD. I just went out and bought age of shadows and installed it, downloaded the wod files and put them in the right directory. I got the config file and put that in the same directory. When i run wodclient.exe i type my username and password but when I click to proceed, I get an error message and it closes.

I tried patching the software and I tried without patching....it didnt have any effect.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Anyone had a similar problem in the past? If so how was that resolved?

Sounds like you're missing the wodli.cfg file. You can rename login.cfg (if you've been using that) to wodli.cfg or download it.

Thanks alot, i had the file but for some reason it was called wodli.cfg.txt

i just renamed it to .cfg and its all good, thanks again
