Booliville still exists despite the collective efforts of the players to make them pesky booli's extinct. and i for sure remember you Ed cause it was i that found your mangled body hanging on the wall of the booli ville during the quest. made a rather profound impression on me and from then on added just a little bit of joy to whacking each and every booli that crossed my path.

I've been here for 3 months or so, and it's been a good 3 months for sure. Thanks to the staff for putting together a great night last night. I hope to see you all again some time.

Man this sucks. 4 years of my life "lost" just like that. I more or less stopped playing when Atei and Stydoran left anyways but I will miss everyone that I ever ran into in game. Fare thee well WOD.

The Darcanes aka Trina and Pyriel

I'm gonna go cry for awhile now.

To all of you, even the pesky ones who ticked me off to no end, you ALL enriched my experience and life durring my time with you. For this I thank you one and all. Drocket you craaazy fool, ya coulda waited for the hurrimacane went through to dim the lights lol. I would have loved to made a final appeerance and finaly plague the bank! LOL I am pretty sure anyone here knows how to get in touch with me if they truly want to since my email and icq have been on the forums as long as me. I will miss this so much I can't really say or express my elation/grief properly at this time. But suffice it to say I will have a spot to think back on and enjoy forever, To name those that truly made it feel "lived in" around here would be pretty hard, BUT, Ciara/Sio (MUAHAHA) was and always will be my favorite lil' brat. Roderick has his hands full I assure you. Dundee, this is mostly all your fault you know, if you hadn't started this it wouldn't be ending! lol so Thanks.
Gramps says he managed to stash some of his hooch before taking the last portal out, and anyone wanting a round of Drake Spit should meet up with him in the WoD saloon on mIRC. Keel SAID he was going to defend the lands till the end, and barely made it out with his arse, it seems at the end the Branubes made a final push and invaded as it was dimming. All he saw was a massive influx of Branubians as the portal closed. Kenny was the first one out, followed by young Krellen and his crew. Winslow and that Firesteed of his took off for parts unknown, but you know how druidy types are...
As for me, what could keep me down? I will ride the etherium till I root somewhere fertile and see what happens from there. So from all the souther Ranar clan, I bid you a wonderful and heartfelt fare well and may ye be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows yer dead!

*reads the thread with sadness*

I am truly sad to see WoD go though it is for purely selfish reasons I admit.

Our shard is based off of WoD scripts. We have been blessed by a development team who was willing to release their scripts to everyone to use. I look forward to one final release with all you have done since the last one.
*grins*

Drocket and everyone else (I'm sorry I don't know all of you by name) to you I say "Thank you so very much" for what you have given to the POL community.

I never had the pleasure of playing here although I did have an account at one time. So I have no idea what the shard was like to play on.

As I said I am sad for purely selfish reasons. I am going to miss seeing the new things thgat you dream up and share with us.

Thanks again so much.

Sincerely,
Kiko

P.S. You don't happen to have scripted a secure container script for the latest housing system have you? Sorry I had to ask.
*smiles sheepishly*

Indeed a sad news. Oh well, I give my thanks to admins who made the WoD possible - Drocket, Dundee, Shade and other admins. Give goodbyes to all people I ever knew in WoD, perhaps we meet again someday in some other place.

Yours

Over the past year, WoD has been a rather large part of my life and I'll probably never forget the times I've had here. Thanks to everyone who made it possible - you all did a wonderful job.

Ach, it is sad to see that WoD is no more. I've been absent from MMORPGS for a long time, but I still have fond memories of this shard and the wonderful people on it. I wish I had had a chance to take my dragon for one last romp, followed by the inevitable catastrophic death and desperate corpse recovery deep in some dungeon *grin* (you all know which one!).

Thank you everyone who made it what it was, the players, and those behind the scenes.

I remember you Saroo..:) Well, it isn't WoD, nothing can be that unique mix of people and history, but Sylvan Dreams has several former WoD players and a lot of the "feel" that WoD has. There is also a lot of enthusiasm and friendly players, lots of custom artwork and scripts, an evolving shard. http://www.sylvandreams.com
