By default, razor uses client.exe, you have to configure it to use nwodclient.exe instead.

That is automatically done during material selection at the moment of crafting cloth items.

Ok, that nails things down. I know for sure magic items dropped by monsters come damaged, sometimes up to a 75% of max durability loss. That loss of max durability can be recovered with the Repair Kit given as reward in the AG.
