Changes up to Nov 7 2011

Post by Agata » Mon Nov 07, 2011 5:38 pm

- Some tweaks to the new bows.
- Updated the liche spell to prevent it from creating a new lich staff if the caster already has one equipped.
- Added more items to the rotation list: metal chest, wooden box, small crate, strong/brass box.
- Fixed misspelling of serpentscales in many of the lootgroup entries. Now more mobs will give serpent scales, as they should have.
- Added Moonglow Bank, Jhelom Bank, Minoc Bank and Magincia Bank to the list of No-Clone zones.
- Added some missing NPCs to the createnpc lists (for GMs and seers).
- Fixed an error in Animate Dead spells regarding the assigning of skills to the zombie created. Zombies are useful again.
- Fixed an error in the Player Clone scripts regarding the assigning of skills to the clone created.
- Minor correction to Enduring Renewal spell. It is an 8th circle spell, but there was a small variable stating it was 6th.
- Updated the Necromancy skill usage. It now works like Spirit Speak from Age of Shadows. You can drain life from nearby corpses for healing.

I'm familiar with the acacia. I know how immortality is achieved.

Nice. How exactly does it work again? How close do you need to be to the corpses? How "fresh" do they need to be? And is there a limit to how much health can be recovered?

You need to be within 3 tiles of a corpse. You can only drain life from a specific corpse once, then the corpse turns grey and won't provide with more healing. You heal between ((1 + monster's virtue) * 6) and (necromancy/2) hit points per usage. If there are no corpses nearby, you consume 10 mana and heal between (3 + (necromancy/20)) and (4 + (necromancy/10)) hit points.
