potions alchemy check?

I couldn't remember if there is an alchemy check for using potions.Particularly, str and int potions.I wanted to compare potion buff vs spell buff.If there is a check how much alchemy is needed.Wanted to know before I buy or get some made up.

If I recall correctly, I removed the check.
I'm familiar with the acacia. I know how immortality is achieved.

Confirmed alchemy check has been removed. Also are the potion buffs alchemy skill based or random item amount.

Random and depending on the "level" of the potion
