hehe I am wondering this myself :) My daughter's boyfriend convinced me that CyberPower knows what they are about as he had just bought himself a gaming machine from them with great customer service results. He and Edison helped me make my decisions on the best I could buy for the limited budget I could spend....so here goes:

Gamer Xtreme 3000 (No monitor, as I have a new one already, nice flat screen 20 inch)

CoolerMaster HAF 912 Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ Adjustable HDD Cage (Black)....gotta look like I know what I am doing :P
CD 24X Double Layer Dual Format DVD+-R?+-RW+CD-R/RW Drive

CPU Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40 GHz 8M Intel Smart Cache LGA1155 ( All Venom OC Certified) Ed tells me this is overclocking ready...I prolly won't fool with that but possibly Jason might if it needs tweaked at some point.

Default Case Fan (Jason has another one for me he will install)

FAN: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan (Enhanced Cooling Performance + Extreme Silent at 20dBA) (Single Standard 120MM Fan)

HDD 2TB (21Bx1) SATA-III 6 .0Gb/s 64 MB Cache 7200RPM HDD(Single Hard Drive)

MEMORY, 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Module (Corsair XMS Gaming Memory with Heatsink Spreader)

MOTHERBOARD: *(CrossFireX) GigaByte GA-Z68A-D3-B3 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 ATX Mainboard w/ Intel Smart Response Technology & 7.1 Dolby Home Theater Audio GbLan, USB3.0 2xSATA-III RAID. 2 Gen2 PCIe, 3 PCIex1 & 2 PCI (All Venom OC Certified)

POWERSUPPLY: 700 Watts - XtremeGear SLI/CrossFireX Ready Power Supply

VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 1GB 16X PCIe

My goal was to keep it around 1K but I did manage to go over that budget by a couple hundred :P ...What do you think?

I'm sure Laephis could split the thread. :p

Sure, why not? :)

Gotta say, I'm really jealous of that new PC. I almost pulled the trigger on a new one this spring, and then property taxes came and bit me in the ass. :x

Its interesting how the way we interact with information has change a little bit. I just though "I only want to put "i like it" or a "+1" to the post of the Computer specs... but there isnt..." sometimes I dont really want to say more that a "wow, nice computer" and show my backup for a comment.

So, what about that idea? its so difficult to put a system like that in the forums? jeje

By the way, wow... nice computer.
