Agility

Agility potions will give you a temporary bonus to your dexterity. This also translates to added stamina. The number of dexterity points gained and the duration are based on the strength of the potion. There is no delay after drinking this type of potion.

Cure

Cure potions will cure poison. The level of poison that can be cured is based on the strength of the cure potion that is used.

Explosion

Explosion potions are like gernades, pop the cork and throw. 3 seconds after impact the potion explodes causing damage to creatures in the blast raduis. The amount of damage done varies based on the strength of the potion.

Health

Healing or health potions restore your hitpoints. The number of hitpoints restored varies with the strength of the potion.

Nightsight

Nightsight potions allow you to see in the darkness as if it were normal light. The potion lasts roughly half a game day.

Poison potions require that you have skill in Poisoning. See Rogue Skills | Poisoning for more info on using poison. There is no delay after drinking this type of potion (although drinking poison is not recommended).

Refresh

Refresh potions restore stamina. The ammount of stamina restored is based on the strength of the potion

Strength

Strength potions add to your strength and thereby gives you additional Hit Points. The ammount of strength added to your strength depends on the level of potion you use. There is no delay after drinking this type of potion.

Janey's Hair Restorer

Janey's Hair Restorer is similar to a hair tonic in that it changes your hair. I honestly don't know much more beyond that.

Sorin's Protection from Paralization will do just that. 1 potion will protect you from one paralysis attack whether it be spell, spider web or trap.

Invisibility

Invisibility Potions will make you, well invisible.

Phandel's Intellect

Phandel's Intellect potions will raise your intelligence. The ammount of intelligence gained depends on the level of potion used.

Mego's Invulnerability

Mego's Invulnerability potions act like protection spells.

The Homeric Might potions are similar in effect to Bless spells.

Essence of Flame

Essence of Flame potions are most commonly used to make fire bows and fire arrows. Druids also use these potions as a reagent for making the "Fire Snakes" rune.

Homoculus Creation

You make a totem and elixer.

Totem (use heating stand on batwing)
2 batwings + 5 daemonbones + 6 trollhides
Elixer (use heating stand on wyrmheart)
1 wyrmheart + 1 diamond + bottle

When you have the elixir and the totem in your main pack, It does not matter which one you use. You can drink the elixir or double click on the totem.

At 100 skill you only have (I believe) a 25% chance to make it. So you will fail quite often. When you fail 1 of 4 thing can happen:

  1. You get poisoned, worse than deadly. So keep some greater cures around.
  2. You lose you hair. Go to the barber at the Provisions in Brittain to get your hair back or use a hair tonic.
  3. Your skin color temporarly turns blue
  4. Sex change from male to female or vice versa

Death and a Homoculus:
If the homoculus is in the same area as you when you die (it won't work if it got hit with a spell or something and ran off and hid), you'll get transfered to the body of the homoculus. Basically, the homoculus dies in your place, and you don't suffer any skill lose for that death. You'll fly around in the monkey body for half an hour or so before returning to normal. If the homoculus somehow dies by itself, it just dies. Nothing special there.
Dundee's Post:
Apart from "all follow me" He'll obey "cure", "heal" and "light" - if he has enough mana. He'll "fetch" one item or "loot" everything around. And then he will "give" it to you in whatever container you want it to be put in. Monsters ignore him. If he does get hurt then he'll run away (though he's pretty beefy now).

Mana Stones

Ingredients for the elixer:

  1. diamond
  2. wyrmsheart
  3. potion bottle

The elixer is just one item needed to make the mana stone. You will need to give the Elixer to a Tinkerer to make the stone itself. More information can be found at Magic Items | Mana Stones

To make a Fire Bow or Fire Arrows you need to first make an Essense of Flame Potion. Double click the potion then target a bow or stack of arrows. 1 potion will turn 1 bow to a firebow or 100 arrows to 100 fire arrows.
