Changes for July 2002
7-21-2
- Significant changes to the recall spell:
- You no longer need to target a recall rune or yourself when you cast the spell. Instead, a gump
now appears
- You can now have up to 5 locations that you can recall to. Only the first one is free, though.
The second slot costs 100,000 gold, the 3rd 200k, the 4th 300k and 400k for the 5th
- Each slot has 2 buttons associated with it: The left button takes you to that location (normal recall)
- The second button overwrites that slot with your current location. There's a yes/no gump to make sure
you want to do that, and you can also enter a name for that location
- If you move while the gump is open, the spell will fail
7-18-2
- Fixed the attack animation of wolves and wolf-based creatures
- Fixed the animation performed by hellhounds when they breath fire
- Tamed firebreathing creatures should now do more damage with their fire breath
- NPC decorators now sell decorator's tools. They look like a paintboat and brush, but can
be used to raise and lower items, move them around, and rotate some items (including a number of containers,
such as chests, that otherwise could not be rotated.) You can only use a
decorator tool inside of a house that you own or are friended to. While you are moving an
item around with the tool, it will not decay.
7-17-2
- Fixed some quirks with repairing and laminating manastone'ed items
7-9-2
- Fixed a sound and graphical problems with the new combat system
7-5-2
