Changes for November 2002

11-22-2

  • Fixed a bug with henchman AR

11-17-2

  • Added a "Suppress Bard Song" switch to .options
  • Added a link on the front page of the website which you can use to vote for the WoD on gamesites200.com. Lets see how high of a ranking we can get to

11-14-2

  • Candlemaking now uses crafting bags

11-8-2

  • House placement is no longer allowed on farmland

11-6-2

  • Due to continued stability problems, the WoD server has switched back to the Windows version of POL. Hopefully that will take care of our problems

11-4-2

  • When you create a Homunculi (the alchemist flying, healing bat thing), you'll now be asked if you want to add a gem to the concoction. If you do, the color of the homunculus you create will be based on the color of the gem used. Scripting credit for this goes to Lyl
  • Masks should now be repairable via the tailoring skill

11-3-2

  • Increased the price that merchants pay for hides. The price now varies depending on the hide type - basic hides are still extremely cheap, but the rarer white and red hides are significantly more valuable
  • You can now craft blank scrolls from hides. To do so, use a dagger (or other bladed item) on the hide. This uses the lumberjacking skill
  • *insert vague justification for how the lumberjacking skill makes sense here*
Basically it boils down to the fact that lumberjacking needed something else useful to do...
  • The difficulty and speed for crafting scrolls depends on the quality of the hide used. Expensive white hides can easily and quickly be transformed into scrolls by virtually anyone. Cheaper hides are more difficult to work with and will take longer.

11-1-2

  • Changed the 'WoD manual' option in the help menu to point to the new manual location
  • Fixed a bug with rotating canvases
  • Small statues (the ones made by tinkers) are now dyable
