The bag might belong to Ruben,he died at the Jhelom moongate and before we could reach him to help the highwaymen had looted him and then went into the moongate. We managed to get most back but some items were still missing.

Well one note did say something about collecting resources. Seafood? That is weird.
What do they mean by resources? I havent found any notes or bags. I'm just glad to stay alive with those new marksmen!! lol

From what i have come to understand the highwaymen are to be collecting food as theor resource. I would be wary of any site that may produce food. I was doing a guard quest yesterday near Skara farmlands when i was assaulted by a group of highwaymen. Thanks to Skeeter for helping me rescue my downed henchie.

Last evening while helping out during a rescue and battle with the Highwaymen I found a bag with the title "Flax and Cotton". This either belongs to a player (please contact me ingame) or could be more supplies gathered by these industrious baddies. We were in Occlo Farmlands

one more death cry

Just to add my (RL, not in game) wife's voice to the discussion here...Ygal says that these highwaymen are doing a GREAT job at proving the kind of players we've got here. She's died 3-4 times to these highwaymen and always received help--usually without having to msg for it 8)

Thanks to the players for really coming together. Thanks to the seers and whatnot for not making any highwayman mages -- there's enough spell casters already out there -- and for making the world a little too dangerous for a while. I'm sure us crafters will find some way of earning a living despite the expensive sailing trips to Occlo

Keep well, my brothers and sisters!

It does appear the highwaymen are gathering resourses(planning on digging in for a long battle I suspect).I was in Yew yesterday when I was ambushed by about 30 of them(got all but three before I died,an archer,an assassin and brute all at once proved to be too much for me).On one of the corpses I found a bag that says bag-regs and inside was almost 1000 garlic. As most know, garlic makes cures potions,so it appears they are stocking up so we can't poison them.

Also,I too have found them in the fields of Occlo and Skara Brae, gathering resourses for themselves and awaiting an unsuspecting lumberjack, tailor or cook to come along gathering resourses so they can ambush them.I suggest it's best that those out gathering the resourses we need for our everyday lives(ie:food, kindling, flax for aids etc.)take along a fighter to guard them against an ambush. We can not allow the highwaymen to cut off our supply lines

I found another bag near yew that was Regs-Spider Silk. Inside was about 2700 spider silk. With this gathering of regs, maybe we will eventually see the appearance of a Highwayman Mage. Hope not though as they are tough as is.

Ok, well now the Highwaymen have Enforcers. These guys hit like a truck and have very high AR. From what i have seen though, none of the Highwaymen have very high MR so it may be a good idea to take a mage with you while hunting them.

We have another new highwaymen....enforcer... to contend with, and it is so far the nastiest of them all.He is very fast and hits extremely hard, several times I nearly died to him,one shot and I was half life. And they are getting closer to Britain, tonight alone several were killed in the town.Perhaps the invasion is near?

A tank and a mage make a great team against the highwaymen. The tank takes the hits and deals some damage, while the mage heals the tank if needed and can also deal damage.

I've always found an archer/mage to be the best support for any tank out there..

~~just my 2 cents~~

For what it's worth ...

We were hunting last week or the week before and didn't think much of it until now. Found a bunch of 50 eggs labelled *EGGS* and it wouldn't let us sell it saying "this looks important" they cook up fine but I'm sure it's part of the "stocking up" of the highwaymen (found near the Brit swamps).
