Unless you plan on using only two-handed weapons, you'll want this skill to get the most out of shields. Every time you are struck, this skill is checked. The skill check is equal to one half your skill. At 100% parry you have a 50% chance of parrying a blow. If successful, you get the AR bonus from your shield. This skill works fine as a secondary or primary, depending on personal preference.
