Do items on vendors count towards the item count?
I have tons of gold and get bored of hunting (rarely
) so I was planning to go and buy up all the garbage off all the random vendors i run across for fun.
Was just curious about how that would help/affect the item count and the world save times and whatnot.

All items have a serial number. Each serial number corresponds to only one item or stack of items. If we run out of serial numbers, no more items can be created. Any item you trash or destroy in some manner leaves the serial number free to use again.
I'm familiar with the acacia. I know how immortality is achieved.

So it would be a good thing if i went and bought up all the, say, orc helms from newbie vendors and trashed them?
